Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian). They were the clear victor by a 19-2 margin over the Upson-Lee Knights on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Lions with their most commanding win of the season.

Mary Ruth Adkins was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Adkins was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Shiloh Stewart and Kayden Harrison did most of the damage at the plate: Stewart scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Harrison scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Makayla Callander, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
