Unity Reed has gone 8-2 against Osbourn Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. Unity Reed is looking for their season's first victory.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 86-37, which was the final score in Unity Reed's tilt against Briar Woods on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Osbourn Park). They snuck past Park View with an 89-83 win on Wednesday.

Osbourn Park found their leader in freshman Jalen Farrell, who went 13-for-16 to rack up 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Farrell has scored all season. Aiden Churchner was another key player, shooting 55% from the field en route to 14 points and seven boards.

Unity Reed's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Osbourn Park, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Unity Reed was able to grind out a solid win over Osbourn Park when the teams last played back in January, winning 71-59. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
