McCook barely beat Gering the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison blew past the Bulldogs 41-17 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.

McCook's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristan Campbell, who rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Another signal caller making a difference was Trenton Raile, who threw for 170 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 passes.

McCook's run defense was locked in: Gering could only muster 2.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Gabe Roberts for the heroic effort on defense: he. McCook didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.3.

Although Gering took the loss, they still got scores from Bo Gable and Ryland Ray.
