Baseball Recap: Fayetteville-Manlius Comes Up Short

Fayetteville-Manlius managed to slip by Cicero-North Syracuse the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hornets lost 11-0 to the Northstars on Tuesday. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Northstars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Fayetteville-Manlius got a good showing from Christian Higgins, who tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Fayetteville-Manlius now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fayetteville-Manlius will face off against Liverpool at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, they will host Rome Free Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
