Volleyball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-11. They lost 3-0 to the Twin River Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Dragons have suffered against the Titans since September 22, 2022.

Wedy Atanacio paced Madison's offense, picking up six kills. Atanacio got some help from Bella Duinkerken and her six assists. Salena Duinkerken controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

As for Twin River, their victory ended a nine-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win they have posted against Madison since September 22, 2022.

Twin River had a senior duo take command as Elle Cromwell had 18 digs and Callie Held had 21 assists.

Madison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Wayne on the 27th. Hopefully Twin River paid attention to the Dragons' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Dragons on Thursday.
