Shallowater has gone 8-2 against Idalou recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Shallowater comes in on six and Idalou on five.

Shallowater is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Friona on Saturday as they made off with a 20-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Idalou faced off against Dimmitt on Friday. The Wildcats walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Bobcats.

Idalou pushed their record up to 16-5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Shallowater, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.

Shallowater took their victory against Idalou in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
