Basketball Recap: Vermont Academy Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Vermont Academy Wildcats came up short against Putnam Science Academy and fell 72-62. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vermont Academy fell to 2-1. As for Putnam Science Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vermont Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Winchendon at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Putnam Science Academy has already played their next game (against Brewster Academy Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
