While Heritage put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Falls Lake. Heritage was the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over Falls Lake. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Firebirds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Not much got past Gianna Deverna, who gave up just five hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Falls Lake off the board. Deverna has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Heritage saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janiah Vargas, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Hayden Callahan was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Falls Lake, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-5.
