There's no place like home for Cedaredge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Grand Valley Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bruins as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Grand Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Alexa Navarro, who had ten digs, and Kyleigh Hernandez, who had four digs and three assists. Navarro is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Cedaredge's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Grand Valley, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
