Baseball Game Preview: Creekview Mustangs vs. Highland Park Scots

For the second straight game, Creekview will face off against Highland Park. The Mustangs will challenge the Scots at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Creekview 2.9, Highland Park 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Last Tuesday, Creekview came up short against Highland Park and fell 7-2. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Scots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Creekview saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mark Rojas, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Highland Park is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Creekview, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.
