Doral Academy is a perfect 4-0 against Palmetto since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Firebirds will welcome the Panthers at 2:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Saturday.

Doral Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Boca Raton with a sharp 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Doral Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Palmetto got the win against Stoneman Douglas on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Palmetto never let Stoneman Douglas on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-23.

Doral Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season. As for Palmetto, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.

Doral Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Palmetto in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Firebirds repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
