Baseball Game Preview: Roxborough Wolves vs. George Washington Eagles

The Roxborough Wolves will head out on the road to take on the George Washington Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Roxborough is looking for their season's first win.

Friday just wasn't the day for Roxborough's offense. They came up short against Martin Luther King on Friday, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for George Washington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Tacony Academy Charter 17-2 on Thursday. Considering the Eagles have won three games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

George Washington's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Roxborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Roxborough got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against George Washington by a conclusive 12-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
