Baseball Recap: Andrews Takes a Loss

Andrews was the 8-7 winner over Murphy when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Andrews saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Postell, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Andrews dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Murphy, their record now sits at 5-10.

Coincidentally, Andrews and Murphy will both be playing Hiwassee Dam the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
