Basketball Recap: Southridge Spartans vs. American Patriots
Southridge won the last time they faced American and things went their way on Thursday too. The Southridge Spartans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the American Patriots 85-58. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

O?Cien Valdes was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 18 on his way to 27 points. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of DeAndre Hardy, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.
