Melrose-Mindoro lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Weston, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's game. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Silver Eagles on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Melrose-Mindoro's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Weston, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.

Weston has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 loss against Royall on the 19th. Hopefully Melrose-Mindoro paid attention to the Silver Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Silver Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
