Softball Recap: Scottsboro Takes a Loss

If Scottsboro was feeling good fresh off their 13-4 takedown of Athens last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Buckhorn Bucks on Monday, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 back in March.

Scottsboro has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for Buckhorn, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-11-1.

Looking ahead, Scottsboro will square off against Fairview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buckhorn, they will take on Ardmore at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
