Softball Recap: Ridgeland Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ridgeland can now relate to. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grenada Chargers on Wednesday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Grenada, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

While Ridgeland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
