Softball Recap: DuBois Takes a Loss

Forest Hills hit DuBois with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Beavers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Beavers of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

DuBois saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addi Lilja, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

DuBois has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Forest Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.

Looking ahead, DuBois will challenge DuBois Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Forest Hills, they will face off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
