Basketball Recap: Osseo-Fairchild Comes Up Short

Osseo-Fairchild lost against Eleva-Strum back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Osseo-Fairchild Thunder took a hard 46-31 fall against the Eleva-Strum Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Cardinals are ranked 111th).

Osseo-Fairchild is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18. As for Eleva-Strum, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Osseo-Fairchild will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Blair-Taylor at 7:15 p.m. on February 21st. As for Eleva-Strum, they will face off against Alma Center Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
