Baseball Recap: Canyon Springs Has No Trouble Against Perris

It was a proper cat-fight when Canyon Springs challenged Perris on Thursday. The Cougars never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Cougars this season.

Jesse Lopez tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
