Basketball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short

North Central lost against North Daviess back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Central Thunderbirds took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Daviess Cougars. The match marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Central's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for North Daviess, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

North Central will take on Marshall in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. As for North Daviess, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-39 loss against Northeast Dubois on the 14th.
