Soccer Preview: Reavis vs. Lemont
Reavis is 0-6 against Lemont since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Reavis Rams will head out on the road to take on the Lemont Lemont HS at 4:55 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Reavis took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Evergreen Park a 4-0 shutout. Isabel Lopez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Reavis.
Meanwhile, Lemont waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 7-0 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Lemont has managed all season.
The win got Reavis back to even at 6-6-1. As for Lemont, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
