Skyline's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Westwood Warriors, sneaking past 11-9. With that victory, the Coyotes brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Kendall Dasti, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kailey Meyer, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Skyline's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-10. As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Skyline will take on Red Mountain at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westwood, they will square off against Cibola at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
