Soccer Recap: Lehi Comes Up Short

Lehi lost against Skyridge back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pioneers fell 2-0 to the Falcons. While losing is never fun, Lehi can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Skyridge are ranked fifth).

Lehi dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Skyridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Lehi has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against American Fork on the 25th. As for Skyridge, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Pleasant Grove on the 25th.
