Basketball Recap: Bullitt Central Comes Up Short

Bullitt Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 46-35 to the North Bullitt Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-22 back in December of 2024.

Bullitt Central's record is now 5-14. As for North Bullitt, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cougars take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Whitefield Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season. As for North Bullitt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-42 defeat against Bardstown on the 8th.
