The Big Sandy Red Devils suffered their biggest loss since November 18, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Houston County at home and fell 62-35. Big Sandy has not had much luck with Houston County recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, Big Sandy still got an impressive performance from Cole Pierpoint, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Garrett Cagle was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
