Basketball Game Preview: Strasburg Indians vs. Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds

The Strasburg Indians and the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Strasburg comes in on four and Windsor Charter Academy on three.

Strasburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Highland 75-43. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Strasburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyce Bollers, who shot 46% from the field on his way to 19 points and six assists. Bollers' big performance that morning made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Brody Hopwood was another key player, going 7-for-9 en route to 18 points and three steals.

Bollers wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Strasburg was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. Strasburg is 21-1 when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, Windsor Charter Academy didn't have too much trouble with SkyView Academy on Thursday as they won 74-57.

Windsor Charter Academy's victory bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Strasburg, their win bumped their record up to 22-4.

Strasburg might still be hurting after the 77-55 defeat they got from Windsor Charter Academy in their previous meeting back in January. Can Strasburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
