Basketball Recap: Madison Southern Takes a Loss

Madison Southern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 79-70 to the Oldham County Colonels. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Colonels are ranked 211th).

Madison Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Oldham County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-10.

Madison Southern has already played their next game, a 79-62 win against Model on the 17th. As for Oldham County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-68 loss against South Oldham on the 17th.
