Basketball Recap: Twiggs County Takes a Loss

Twiggs County lost against Johnson County last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Twiggs County Cobras fell to the Johnson County Trojans 67-61. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Twiggs County still got an impressive performance from Daniel Pitts, who posted 29 points. The game was Pitts' fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Demontrez Brown was another key player, putting up nine points.

Twiggs County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Johnson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.
