After flying high against White Castle last Thursday, Southside came back down to earth. The Southside Sharks lost to the Donaldsonville Tigers on the road by a 57-43 margin on Saturday. The Sharks' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Quinnton Dabney continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Donaldsonville, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Dabney a new career-high in assists (five). Another player making a difference was Skyler Garrison, who went 5 of 7 en route to 14 points and six rebounds.

Southside now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Donaldsonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
