New Canaan waltzed into their match on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Danbury Hatters. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

New Canaan was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-11.

Leading New Canaan to victory were Mia Lockyer and Yume Duncan. Lockyer had eight digs and five aces, while Duncan had 19 assists. That's the most assists Duncan has posted over her last four matchups.

They weren't the only good servers: New Canaan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

New Canaan's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Danbury, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

As of now, neither New Canaan nor the Hatters have any future games scheduled.
