Baseball Recap: Brock Takes a Loss

Brock and Spring Hill squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Brock had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

This is the second loss in a row for Brock and nudges their season record down to 30-5. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Spring Hill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 34-7.

Brock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spring Hill, they will take on Wimberley at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The Texans will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
