After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Brunswick, East Columbus was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the East Bladen Eagles. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Gracie Coyle made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Coyle was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Aleigh Godwin and Jenna King did most of the damage at the plate: Godwin scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4, while King went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Kamora Bryant was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

East Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for East Bladen, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
