Abe Anderson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Anderson and Xaverian Brothers will head out to face off against Bishop Hendricken at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Anderson had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in May of 2024 8-7. Could another big game from him be enough to change the outcome this time?
