Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Rams vs. Northwest Christian School Crusaders

The Riverside Rams will face off against the Northwest Christian School Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Riverside had to suffer through a 61-21 loss at the hands of St. George's. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northwest Christian School had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 59-49 win over the Gorillas.

Northwest Christian School is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Riverside, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Riverside was taken down by Northwest Christian School 60-30 in their previous matchup back in December of 2019. Can Riverside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
