Asotin won the last time they faced Garfield-Palouse and things went their way on Tuesday too. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Asotin Panthers made off with a 53-52 victory over the Garfield-Palouse Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Asotin's record now sits at 9-1. As for Garfield-Palouse, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.

Asotin will venture away from home to face off against Colfax at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Colfax knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Asotin likes a good challenge. As for Garfield-Palouse, they will welcome Waitsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
