Gilmour Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Villa Angela-St. Joseph didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Gilmour Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 75-70 win.
