Soccer Recap: Palatine Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Palatine's offense. They lost 3-0 to the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees on Thursday. Palatine were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Zion-Benton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Palatine's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Zion-Benton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Palatine will take on Wauconda at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Zion-Benton, they will be taking part in a tournament against McHenry at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
