After only two runs in their last game, Highland made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hillcrest on Friday. The Rams came out on top against the Knights by a score of 10-7. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered an 11-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Highland got a big performance out of Cedar Lacey, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Broadhead, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

The win made it two in a row for Highland and bumps their season record up to 8-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Hillcrest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Highland will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Madison at 3:30 p.m. As for Hillcrest, they will challenge Rigby at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
