Softball Recap: Berlin Takes a Loss

Berlin came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Adams-Friendship Green Devils, falling 16-1.

Melissa Kurczek made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Adams-Friendship, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Berlin has already played their next contest, a 15-8 defeat against Westfield Area on the 30th. As for Adams-Friendship, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Nekoosa on the 30th.
