Green River faced Riverton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Neither Wolves nor the Wolverines could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Green River have been dealt a draw since back in March.

Their goal came courtesy of Braxton Doak, who's now up to 14 this season.

Green River's draw makes their record 4-5-2 this season. Meanwhile, Riverton's record is now 3-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green River will venture away from home to face off against Kelly Walsh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverton, they will head out to square off against Jackson Hole at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson Hole will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Riverton surely won't give up without a fight.
