Basketball Recap: University Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only University walked away with it. They walked away with a 76-66 win over the Half Moon Bay Cougars on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

University pushed their record up to 22-11 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points over those games. As for Half Moon Bay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-9.

Coming up, University will challenge Carlmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carlmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully University likes a good challenge. Half Moon Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
