Softball Recap: Zion Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Zion Christian Academy Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat Tournament Opponent on Saturday and fell 10-9. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bella Waller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison White, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Zion Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Zion Christian Academy will challenge Christian Community at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tournament Opponent, they will square off against Del Campo at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Tournament Opponent are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
