Softball Recap: Rockwall-Heath Comes Up Short

Rockwall-Heath fell victim to Forney and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Jackrabbits. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Jackrabbits: they've now lost three in a row.

Rockwall-Heath's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 14-12. As for Forney, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6-1 record this season.

Rockwall-Heath will square off against Tyler Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Forney, they will host North Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.53 runs per game on average), something the Jackrabbits will no doubt try to take advantage of.
