Baseball Recap: Riverton's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Riverton dropped their record down to 14-8 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corner Canyon Chargers. The contest marked the Silverwolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Riverton got a good showing from Issac Jones, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jones has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Riverton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Mounteer, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
