Softball Recap: Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils vs. Baldwin Highlanders
Mt. Lebanon lost a heartbreaker to Baldwin when they met back in April of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils fell just short of the Baldwin Highlanders by a score of 4-2. Mt. Lebanon has not had much luck with Baldwin recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
For Baldwin's part, Anna Schumacher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks.

Mt. Lebanon will take on Norwin at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Baldwin, they will head out on the road to square off against Seneca Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seneca Valley is coming into the contest with six straight victories at home, so Baldwin will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
