Softball Game Preview: Goose Creek Gators vs. Wando Warriors

Goose Creek is 0-9 against Wando since March of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Gators will head out to challenge the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Goose Creek is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They lost 10-1 to Stratford.

Goose Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaionna Wheatley, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Wando unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Lucy Beckham by a score of 4-3.

Wando's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Goose Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Goose Creek might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Wando in their previous meeting on April 4th. Can the Gators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
