Volleyball Game Preview: Clarkston Angoras vs. Seckinger Jaguars

The Clarkston Angoras will venture away from home to square off against the Seckinger Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Clarkston came up short against Chattahoochee and fell 2-0. Considering the last time the Angoras couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Clarkston had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Seckinger faced Trinity Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams back in March. The Jaguars fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

This is the second loss in a row for Clarkston and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Seckinger, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
