It was a good run, but Kenosha Tremper unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin Sabers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sabers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Kenosha Tremper saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mallory Meier, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Kenosha Tremper's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Franklin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

As of now, neither Kenosha Tremper nor the Sabers have any future games scheduled.
