Basketball Recap: Brackett Comes Up Short

Brackett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stacey Eagles. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Brackett's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Stacey, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Coming up, Brackett will look to defend their home court on Friday against La Pryor at 6:30 p.m. The Tigers will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.32 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Stacey, they will head out to square off against Sabinal at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
